Industry tasting: When restrictions are relaxed a bit this summer, we will be hosting an industry tasting of our new shipment.
Saugage wines from owner/winemakers fair:
We will be hosting this fair with other importers and local producers. Featured: NO CORPORATIONS. Specifically wines actually made by the owners, with spontaneous fermentation of native yeast.
Why? because only winemakers with the best quality grapes and highest attention to detail ever attempt this. The result: outrageously great wines.

Pedro Parra's new book Terroir Footprints is available from Alit/Rose and Arrow winery
He is interviewed by Rajat Parr on Youtube. Much is revealed about the relationship between rock and the soul of the wine. The book itself reads like a travel log: full of interesting and funny anecdotes about his adventures working in many vineyards. Its central focus is his voyage of the discovery of how to truly understand where wine gets it's texture. I thirsted for more than just wine while reading... We still know little about the interplay between rock, roots and the beneficial fungi that actually live inside the vines.
The Ship is Here!!! container at the warehouse by April 22 (2020). We'll be unpacking and ready to ship: including sold out wines such as Paola Poblete's Bluhands, and the smash hit Mako, a Sauvignon Blanc by Maurizio Garibaldi.
We will also get wines from what may soon be seen as one of the worlds best wine regions: Itata, Chile: Pedro Para and Edgard Carter-Mollenhauer have brought us Cinsault, País and Semillon. We have already had a great tasting of some advance bottles.
Congratulations to Karine Carter-Mollenhauer for her award of 93 points by Tim Atkin's for Cienaga de Name
Also Congratualations to José Ignacio Maturana for his great accolades from James Suckling, on the Puente Austral Carmenere -91 points
Lumin wines have joined our list. Among them: Pinot Noir. Grenache and Grenache Blanc. Will Henry and his wife Kali have a rare thing: vineyards in a valley that faces the coast so that it scoops up the cool air of the ocean - just like the valleys in Chile. The Wines are excellent and we have already had a wildly successful tasting on Lopez island at Vitas Wildly Delicious Cafe.
